Since I was a child I considered myself one of those crazy people who will influence the world. With that passion I have conquered dreams, acquiring multicultural knowledge and building ideas in projects that bring positive impact in the community.

I am highly motivated to be part of your mission, I have been a backpacker around the world. I have worked, study and lived overseas, but mainly I have left my mark in people’s heart and have get the best experiences in each country.
My inspiration is to exchange cultures and I keep doing by being a host of couch surfing at home. Definitely I am a worthy candidate, people describes me as adventures and pure hearted and I am sure I can and will keep contributing to society as a love traveler and with projects that will help for a better earth.
Ecuador needs people who believes in the possibility of dreams coming true and this opportunity will allow me to continue my path by inspiring more people to believe that. Let’s make it happen!

At some point in time, there is no earth without the Amazon rain forest…at least no earth as we know it…capable of supporting human life. I suspect that the primary reason our species, in large part, ignores this reality is very simple. The “point in time” where the impact of destroying things like the Amazon is far enough in the future that most of us alive today will not be impacted by our actions.

The vast majority of the human beings alive on the earth will not deal with the consequences of our actions and based upon the lives we lead, we simply don’t care about the world we are leaving to future generations. This statement might be more accurate if we said “The vast majority of those in power today…those responsible for the decisions made about things like the destruction of the Amazon…are old enough that they will never deal with the consequences of their actions.”

The simple fact is that most of us live our lives as if this is all there is. That’s the only conclusion one can reach if we “judge the tree by the fruit that it bears.”

If it were a song…the title might be… “It’s all about me” and the lyrics might go something like this…

“It’s all about me…why should I care about tomorrow when I won’t be “here” and here is all there is. Prove that I am wrong…that there is something beyond this life…because you can’t. What you see is what you get and you are going to get what we can’t see but I really don’t care because it’s all about me.”

      Good luck to us all.

Of the 100 climate change solutions DRAWDOWN (dot org) describes, with cost and economic outcome forecast 30 years, adding to land managed by indigenous groups is extremely important. Reversing deforestation will be required to keep carbon stored in the ground, and in the ecosystem, from moving into the atmosphere. Question: we must proceed with all 100 solutions, and DRAWDOWN ranks solutions based on potential GHG reduction. Which solution is #1?

A good project, lots of enthusiasm but not too original: the subject has been exploited by environmentalists for quite a long time.
